WELL, HELLO, 2014!

I don't know about you, but the holidays can just go away for awhile. I mean, they are fun, festive, but also hectic. And the worst part is that business generally grinds to a standstill, which leaves me feeling like I'm on the hampster wheel getting nowhere fast.
Of course, ideally, we'd all just sit around a fire and be all snuggly while singing Christmas carols, with the holiday cards already in the mail, the presents beautifully wrapped, and the aroma of fresh baked cookies wafting past our noses. But when you're itching to go after your new year's goals, it's a delicate balance to focus on the business and the new goals and the cards that will be late, the all-nighters of getting things wrapped, and well, let's just say it's not a bad thing if all those cookies don't get baked.
So, now (deeeep breath), it's a new year, full of possibilities, wishes, and dreams, and the sleeves are rolled up, a crooked grin on my face, and a "Let's Do This!" attitude! So join me, if you will, as we embark on this new journey!
